You might remember Blue America candidate Steve Porter from last year’s campaign in Pennsylvania’s 3rd CD. He ran as a progressive Democrat and made some inroads into rubber stamp Republican Phil English’s strength. This year Steve is still running as a progressive BUT… he’s the first candidate Blue America is endorsing who isn’t a Democrat. He re-registered as an Independent. Is it the right thing to do?
