If you were one of the several hundred Blue America contributors who made a donation to Shenna Bellow’s campaign when she ran for Susan Collin’s Senate seat in 2014 or for the state Senate in 2016, you can pat yourself on the back. Shenna is now Secretary of State and, as you probably know, decided to follow the dictates of the U.S. Constitution and disqualify Trump from appearing on the Maine ballot.
When we first met Shenna she was the executive director of the ACLU. She understands the rule of law and she understands constitutional government. Blue America is very proud to have supported her through the years.
