Today’s Blue America candidate will be Mark Pera, who is taking on one of the worst Bush Dogs in Congress, Illinois’ Dan Lipinski. Go by Firedoglake at 11am, Pacific Time (1pm in Chicago) and meet Mark and see why we’ve decided to endorse him.
When I asked him to be our guest dj, his first reaction was Johnny Cash’s “I Walk the Line,” a personal fave. But then he started reflecting and started talking about his favorite album from when he was in law school, Steely Dan’s Aja. Although he suggested we listen to every track, his stand out favorite is “Deacon Blues.”
